The domaine fl (fournier-longchamps) vineyard extends over almost 34 hectares on either side of the loire, on a terroir that has been home to vines since the 11th century. A terroir where Chenin Blanc, the historic grape variety of Anjou, is king! Its complexity and ability to age have always set it apart. It's from this single grape variety, and with the same exacting standards, that Domaine fl makes dry, sweet and syrupy white wines in the Savennières, Savennières-roches-aux-moines, Coteaux du Layon, Quarts de chaume and Anjou Blanc appellations. Another grape variety, cabernet franc, also typical of anjou, is also grown to produce the very fine anjou-villages. Domaine fl's vineyards are mainly located in the communes of savennières (right bank) and rochefort-sur-loire (left bank). They flourish on chalky-clay slopes, benefiting from a mild climate and plenty of sunshine. Appearance
Luminous gold color with green highlights. The wine is rich and fat in appearance.
Aroma
On the nose, the finesse and minerality of the aromatic structure are evident, with notes of peach, pear, citrus, dried flowers and floral honey.
