The winemaker

Pabiot Roger and his son, now form the 4th generation of winemakers owners of their vines. They work the family farm of 20 hectares in the respect for tradition and terroir. Located around Boisgibault in Nièvre, their vineyards (some plots are older than 80 years) is exposed on the best slopes overlooking the Loire, Beauregard to Girarmes. This vineyard, representing 4 types of soils in the region: hard limestone or "caillottes" flint clay, sandy terrace, kimméridgiennnes marl brings a unique character in terms of soil to produce original wines AOC ( AOC). Roger Pabiot Estate respects the quality charter Vigneron Independent:     "Working his own vine"     "Harvest his grapes,"     "Bottling production in his basement,"     "Vinify and raise his wine,"     "Improve in the respect for tradition,"     "Welcome and advise the tasting"     "Market its products."
