Muscadet sèvre et maine clisson la molette is produced from the melon de bourgogne grape, the region's traditional variety. The vines are grown on granite and gneiss soils, which give the wine its characteristic minerality and freshness. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, with no added yeast, to preserve the wine's natural character.
