The montlouis-sur-loire appellation, where chenin blanc is the only grape variety, is located on a beautiful plateau above Tours, where the loire and cher valleys meet. The deep roots of the vines seek coolness in the tuffeau subsoil, the white chalk typical of the Touraine region. An ideal environment for creating the finest white wines, from dry to sweet, including this magnificent soft wine with its delicate sugar/acidity balance. this 2019 is a very fine chenin demi-sec, more elegant than powerful, named after its subsoil. 12g/l of residual sugar, barely perceptible given its freshness!
