This 100% Chenin Blanc cuvée is vinified and aged in barrels. Rich and full-bodied, this dry wine is beautifully tender on the palate. A wine for ageing and gastronomy.

Excellent Montlouis. A must-have for lovers of dry Chenin. Tasted with a 36-month Parma ham, magnificent. I put this estate in my favorites with those of Mr Blot and Mr Ivancic. Bravo to the winemaker.

A very good, pleasant and interesting wine. Quite complex on the palate, it holds up well both on its own and with a meal. Don't put it away for too long, as some corks are already showing signs of fatigue.

A suave Montlouis that never fails to woo and delight. Transparent, fluid Loire color. The Chenin is sparing in its effects from the outset, then becomes richer with age. A fine performance,

A great discovery. An enthusiast in a previous post compared it to Blot and Ivancic, and I understood why. Taut and fruity. A very glou-glou chenin. And... great value for money!

Nose: very nice, appetizing, with an initial incisive lemon-cake nose. Iodized notes and light floral aftertaste. Palate: greedy, round and balanced on the attack. Slightly fatty mid-palate, herbaceous notes with a floral edge. Little fruit on the palate. Short to medium finish. A good little Chenin, but not very deep.

It's good, but I wouldn't go so far as to compare this cuvée to the work of Jacky Blot, as I've read elsewhere. Well made, in fact, and you can clearly recognize the typicity of the Chenin grape and the Montlouis terroir. Good value for money too.
