The winemaker

Lorraine and her father, Pascal, were desperate to have an iconic white wine in their fold, and naturally turned to the Sancerre appellation, with the help of their friend and business partner Pascal Jolivet. They had the opportunity to acquire an exceptional 10-hectare estate located on the oldest parcels of Sancerre with the best terroir. The various vineyards are located on the hills around the town of Sancerre, with soils composed mainly of flint and limestone. The name 'Le Piton de Sancerre' comes from the geographical location of the village of Sancerre, nicknamed 'Le Piton' because of its altitude of 310m, with a breathtaking view from the top of the vineyard. Pascal Jolivet's experience combined with the expertise of Oddo Vins et Domaines can only guarantee an exceptional future and top-of-the-range production.
