The winemaker
When Valéry Renaudat set up in Berry in 1999, the estate covered just 1.5 hectares. Today, Valéry manages 18 hectares of vines using integrated farming methods, with the utmost respect for nature. The Sauvignon vines for Quincy grow on sandy and gravelly terroirs, giving rise to very fine, fruity and mineral wines. For Reuilly, the terroirs are clay-limestone, giving them a more assertive character. Finally, Valéry's wines regularly win awards in guides, magazines and trade shows.
