The winemaker

The Mosny estate is a family story that began in the 1920s. At that time Ernest Mosny settled as a winegrower in the heart of the Montlouis-sur-Loire vineyard. In 1938, he saw the birth of the AOC Montlouis-sur-Loire and the growing recognition of the wines of the appellation. 5 generations later, it is today Thierry Mosny who has taken over the reins of the Domaine.

The vineyard covers an area of 14 hectares of Chenin vines, the only grape variety authorized in the appellation. The vineyard is managed with respect for the environment and is currently in conversion to organic farming. The work in the vineyard as well as in the cellar is carried out in the purest tradition with the objective of producing authentic wines.

The Domaine Mosny offers wines in the different styles specific to the Montlouis appellation, namely dry, sweet and sparkling wines. Each wine has its own personality and reveals a part of the terroir.
