In Reugny, in 1835, a small operation was born, in the guise of a discreet family farm. Since then, winegrowers Lhomme and Gauthier have made their vineyards flourish, officially creating the famous Domaine du Viking in 1989. Find out more

The winemaker

Today, no less than 17ha are reserved for the production of quality white wines, which benefit from the Vouvray AOC appellation. Led by a talented and passionate team, the Viking estate is a place for sharing. Lionel Gauthier and his daughter Aurélie are keen to pass on their passion for oenology to the public. Tourists can sample the delights of the sparkling, sweet and dry white wines that make up the richness of the winery.
