The winemaker

Domaine du Pré Semelé is located in Maimbray in the commune of Sury-en-Vaux, 5 km north of Sancerre. We are currently 2 brothers on the estate, Julien and Clément Raimbault, where we cultivate the Sancerre appellation with the greatest respect for our terroirs. The Domaine's 20 ha are mainly located on the slopes of Maimbray and Sury-en-Vaux, but also on a smaller scale in the communes of Verdigny and Menetou-Ratel. The terroirs are clay-limestone, 70% of which is white earth (Kimmeridjian marl) and 30% caillottes (Portlandian limestone). We cultivate our vines in a highly reasoned, organic way.
