The winemaker

In the 2000s, Antoine and François Jamet took over Domaine des Vallettes, created by their parents in 1986. These two young winemakers vinify and market their wines all over the world, perpetuating tradition in production while modernizing the wines and their packaging. The family estate has covered some twenty hectares for eight generations. The estate boasts two types of terroir typical of the Loire Valley: sand and gravel for the Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and clay-limestone for the Coteaux de Bourgueil. The entire vineyard is planted with Cabernet Franc.
