The winemaker
La Tourlaudiere is located halfway between the towns of Vallet and La Chapelle Heulin, between departmental roads 106 and 756. The vineyard covers almost 35 ha, and is crossed by the Poyet, a tributary stream of the Goulaine.
Roland vinified his first harvest in 1976, a famous vintage obtained after training as a viticulture-oenology technician at Château de la Tour Blanche, in the Sauternes region.
Jeanine made her viticultural debut with the 1982 vintage, after completing the same training at L'Oisellerie in Angoulême.
In 1984, under the name Petiteau-Gaubert, they brought together terroirs and vines from a family heritage dating back to the 17th century.
When the relationship between winemaker and vine is expressed with passion and respect for human and natural values, protecting the environment and striving for quality become two major concerns.
This is why the Domaine de la Tourlaudière has been cultivated according to the "Terra Vitis" specifications since 2004.
