The winemaker
Jérôme Dumanois & his team cultivate 25 hectares of organic vines in the heart of the Muscadet region, near Nantes and 1 hour from the ocean. The vines at Domaine de la Fessardière have been grown organically since the 1990s. In 2014, Emeline & Jérôme took over the winery. Accompanied by François, Anne-Sophie and Philippe, these young winemakers aim to offer you fresh, fruity, round Muscadet wines. These dry Loire whites are perfect for sharing with family and friends, as an aperitif or with a fine meal!
At Domaine de la Fessardière, grapes take pride of place. Most of the vines are planted on slopes with light, shallow, clayey-siliceous, stony soils. The grapes grown here come from the Melon de Bourgogne variety, typical of the Nantes vineyards, and from the Muscat Sèvre-et-Maine appellation.
Several wines produced at the estate have won awards. Muscadet La Mer qu'on voit danser is an emblematic product of the Nantes region. L'Air innocent expresses the winegrowers' know-how and love of the land. Coup de Foudre is a dry white wine aged on its lees, made to last over time.
