The winemaker

The field Bruno Cormerais located in Saint Lumine de Clisson, in the Loire valley between the two departments of Maine and Sèvre. Bruno Cormerais comes from a family linked to winemaking for generations: Bruno's father was a manufacturer of Maine and the mother comes from a family of winemakers of the Sevre. Most vineyards in the domain have between thirty and seventy years and the land on which it is atypical for the region, because it is composed of Clisson granite. Bruno Cormerais is known to be harvested late and follow the ancient tradition of wine rest on its lees for more than a year. The results are wines of great character, rich, fruity and powerful, which perfectly express the territory, but they need time to mature. The area is best known for producing the famous Muscadet lie on with a wine on the lees and only indigenous yeasts.
