The winemaker

Bedouet Vigneron is a family trip.  It was Henri Bedouet, born in 1899, cooper and winemaker sharecropping (sharing the harvest by half with the owner of the vineyard) that made the first move with his wife Agathe. His son Henry, born in 1931, settled in 1957. He started as a farmer before becoming a farmer (tenant vineyards) in 1977. With Mary-Jo, wife of the soil, they walk still looking forward.  Michel, born in 1960 arrives in 1985, bought the vineyard in 1990 and continues voyage.C'est through Seneca and this beautiful quote: "It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, c it's because we do not dare that they are difficult "in 2010, he began the conversion of the vineyards to organic farming and harvesting its first organic grapes in 2013. Winemaker since 1985, I believed that a reasoned vine growing could be a real production concept. With Descartes, I realized that I turned around and I was giving myself good conscience polluting better. Now I practice organic cultivation, I rediscovered my winemaker. "Agriculture" has agros, "field" and "culture" comes from "cult"; anger from the Latin, meaning "honor". Cultivate, so honor the earth to make it fertile. I respect the balance of nature, I relive the ground to sustain the vines in good conditions and it brings me healthy grapes and quality. So I can make wines that fully express the potential of great terroirs in finesse, simply. My philosophy is to produce true wines, wines of minerality, lively wines. Wine in a consistency which, nose to the palate, are pure expression of the soil. "Neither alcoholism nor elitism" could tell us Epicure inviting us to virtuous pleasures. My wines are like me, they are bearers of brotherhood and joy, simply. I see trade as a sustainable and equitable exchange of goods around shared values. That's why I work each plot with the same attention, giving the best of myself. Work in the vineyard is rigorous and precise, because it is there, as close as grapes is wine. Organic farming, with tillage, the prohibition of chemical synthesis and behavior based on the life of the earth and the vine, is both the foundation and guarantor of authenticity.
