The winemaker

The vineyards of Sancerre is 2600 hectares from the Sauvignon for whites and Pinot Noir for red and rosé. The Dauny family is an old family vineyard of Sancerre region which grows grapes on the hillsides deemed to Champtin since 1683. Nicole and Christian Dauny represent the twelfth and thirteenth generation is ensured by their son Benoît and Thibaut. It was in 1964 that the vineyard has been completely converted into organic farming. The goal is to improve the fertility of long-term soil and eliminate many forms of pollution and to provide consumers with a healthy product, natural and balanced. Our wines come from vines therefore grown without chemical fertilizers and weedkillers without insecticide or miticide, synthetic fungicide. Today, we respect the European specifications loads of crops, and our wines are made in the respect for tradition.
