Created with the utmost respect for the local terroir and a meticulous blend of noble, hand-harvested grape varieties, gratien & meyer flamme cuvées are made using traditional methods. Ageing time in the heart of the cellars extends far beyond the appellation's specifications. In 1864, the gratien & meyer house was born in saumur, the fruit of a meeting between two leading figures in the wine world: alfred gratien and jean-albert meyer. Together, they created the caves gratien & meyer, located in ancient tuffeau galleries, where they put their respective expertise and commitment at the service of wine. In this "temple of saumur", modern techniques are used only to better serve tradition. From bottling to ageing in the cellars, all stages of production are carried out on site by a team of men and women with a passion for a job well done. Values that have been handed down from generation to generation for over 150 years.

Aroma
The initial nose is discreet, with light toasty notes, before gaining in intensity and opening up to fresher pear aromas with mineral notes.
Taste
On the palate, the attack is delicate, with a pleasant freshness. It offers excellent balance with fine bubbles. The long finish is enhanced by a light structure and toasty notes.
