Scea Château SoucherieEstimated delivery between Dec 30, and Jan 1,
The development of Botrytis Cinerea in the form of noble rot is favored by alternating dry and wet periods. Humidity at night, dew and morning fog in the Layon valley stimulate the fungus, while the autumnal afternoon sun limits its growth. These are the specific conditions required to produce a great sweet wine.
Appearance
The color is a brilliant golden yellow.
Aroma
Attractive, bright golden yellow nose with notes of apple, rhubarb and ripe comice pear. The whole highlights the patina of the wood, giving it a milky, butterscotch quality. The wine is not dominated by its botrytis character.
