The winemaker

Les Complices de Loire is the crazy dream of two friends, François-Xavier Barc and Gérald Vallée, who are both passionate about wine. Both from the Loire Valley, one trained in the vineyards of Chinon, the other in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Having fallen madly in love with these terroirs, they decided together to create Les Complices de Loire, in order to produce their own wines, with the aim of representing all the facets of this magnificent region. To do this, they called on the best winemakers from the 8 appellations they decided to promote: Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Bourgueil, Chinon, Saumur-Champigny, Saumur, Touraine, Montlouis-sur-Loire and Pouilly Fumé. And they don't compromise on quality! They produce 13 "cuvées de copain", reflecting their philosophy, and aiming to bring out the best in the terroirs from which their wines come.
