The winemaker

The domaine is located in the heart of the Loire Valley, close to the town of Ambroise. With a century of history behind it, the domaine continues to create authentic wines, a symbiosis between the winemaker and his terroir. The 4th generation, embodied by Jean Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet, has been at the helm since 2015. Their philosophy is to observe nature and rigorously perfect what it offers us, vintage after vintage. The estate, formerly called Domaine de la Prévôté but now named after the two winemakers, aims to help you discover the expression of our terroirs.

Jean Baptiste and Stéphane met while studying at the Saint-Emilion wine school. Some ten years later, they both had the opportunity to travel abroad and experiment with great winemakers such as François Chidaine. They decided to spare no effort in jointly taking over Jean Baptiste's family estate. Since the 2013 vintage, they have been collaborating with the previous generation, enabling them to create 5 wines (3 whites and 2 reds) in 2014 and 2015.
