On the lands of l'ermitage, a family estate that in the 13th century was already feeding the Château de montferrand and the bishops of maguelone, jean-marc, pierre and xavier ravaille have won their bet: from this estate, which after the revolution was the kingdom of sheep, olive trees and vines, they have turned it into a jewel of the pic saint loup appellation. Leaning against the foothills of the massif, on the hills of saint mathieu de tréviers, the estate has seen the long line of winegrowers that the maternal ancestry has given it succeed one another without interruption. At l'ermitage du pic saint loup, the obsession is to produce a wine that expresses the terroir. The sine qua non for making a fine wine is respect for the grapes. This is why the domaine understands the importance of the natural environment and its influence on wines. The 3 winegrowing brothers have been working in a natural, biodynamic way for several years now. Cuvée "Tour de pierres" is a complex red wine with a beautiful purple/purple color. The nose is spicy (white pepper), minty, cocoa and red fruit. The palate is full-bodied, fresh and well-balanced, with hints of strawberry, pepper and spices.
