Macabeo planted in 1957 on schist soil, crossed by red ferruginous clays. soft yellow with clear green highlights. in 2018,oca has lost none of its distinctive flavor and precision, showing fennel, flint, wood smoke, cuttlefish ink and clear notes of anise. With the necessary oxygen, apple, grapefruit zest and verbena are added. The palate pleasantly challenges the taster with lots of spice, it sits on the tongue like a carpet with plenty of minerality. Everything seems complex and skilfully interwoven. The food that accompanies this wine should be uncluttered, with a flavor as clean as the wine itself.
