Cave la CaboteEstimated delivery between 20 and Nov 22,
Originally from the Loir-et-cher region of France, bruno duchêne acquired small vineyard plots in 2002 on the steep hillsides overlooking banyuls, at an altitude of 300 meters. In this rugged environment, where hard work is anything but an abstract notion, the man works hard to maintain most of his vineyards organically, with some plots pampered like little gardens. In the cellar, gentle vinification (with minimal doses of sulfur) gives birth to wines that go beyond the all-too-simplistic qualifier of "natural": made from old Grenache and Carignan grapes, these are above all easily digestible wines, with a smooth texture but imbued with a freshness earned in the vineyard. These sun-drenched, gourmet wines seem to radiate the good humor and spontaneity of their progenitor. bruno duchêne's cuvée la luna is disconcertingly fresh and delicious. All the craftsmanship of this great winemaker shines through in this pure, intense juice. A plunge into the heart of the Côte de Vermeille, whose wild beauty bursts onto the palate with emotion and gentleness.
