The rivesaltes aoc covers 5180 hectares planted with grenache noir for the reds and grenache blanc, grenache gris and macabeu. In their youth, the reds have aromas of candied fruit and citrus fruit.
The 1955 vintage was a great one. The wines produced were richly flavored thanks to a dry, hot summer, followed by a slightly damp September. In their youth, the wines were closed, but as they aged,... they became more concentrated, more powerful and very seductive. A great vintage. Read more
