Amber rivesaltes are aged for 2 years in an oxidative environment. They have a golden color and aromas of hazelnut and almond. Red Rivesaltes (75% Grenache) have a ruby color and red fruit aromas. They are kept for 12 months, including 3 in bottle. Rivesaltes tuilés (50% Grenache) are aged in large containers in contact with ai for 2 years. Their color is tiled with brown highlights. They offer aromas of coffee, candied fruit and cocoa. Finally, Rivesaltes hors d'âge are aged for at least 5 years.

The Graves wines were particularly successful and the Sauternes, despite reduced production, produced fresh, rich, fruity wines.
