X is a tribute to Julius Caesar's Xth Legion, based in Narbonne at the start of the conquest of Gaul. Renowned for its strength and daring, the Xth Legion is expressed in the powerful Syrahs of Cuvée X. Aged for 12 months in American oak, X develops aromas of black fruit and peat. The finish is intense and complex. Aged 12 months in 400L new American oak barrels.
