Mas Amiel is a historic estate founded in 1815, with a great diversity of terroirs and plots, all different and with their own history and identity. This wine was aged for one year in glass carboys, then 27 years in oak tuns. With long ageing, the wine acquires great maturity in its aromas and structure.
An exceptional wine for its aromatic richness.
Appearance
Tiled color with coffee highlights.
Aroma
The nose reveals intense notes of powdered chocolate and fresh fig, accompanied by fresh notes of peppermint.
Wine Empyreumatic | Fruity
Taste
The palate is astonishing, both for its clean, powerful attack and for its surprising acidity for a wine of this age. Notes of fresh fig and walnut assert themselves on a perfect balance of alcohol, sugar and acidity.
