The winemaker

Bathed in light, it benefits from rare geological qualities and a complex regional and varied gravel Villafranchian on red clay and silt. After a thorough and accurate identification of soils, we have reorganized the entire vineyard of Mas Belles Eaux around traditional Languedoc grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan. The Mas and its vaulted cellar built in the 17th century are the oldest buildings of a field planted with rare species. Recent technical facilities offer advanced winery and aging cellar for wine aging in barrels. With these powerful tools, better yield control of the vineyard and the establishment of a suitable method of vinification (long, soft maceration), the wines of Mas Belles Eaux have gained new impetus. The field was named Belles Eaux because of the water that runs around the Mas then flow into the river Peyne. These have a unique effect on the soil and bring freshness to the wines of Mas Belles Eaux. These sources thus contribute to the natural balance of the environment. We strive, throughout the development process of our wines, from vine to bottling, to respect this natural harmony.
