Excellent. Surprisingly bold. Nose bursting with dark fruits with moss undertones. Warm, forest berries and hint of fig initially moving to more complex dark chocolate and cherries, vanilla, and black pepper finish. Very, very good wine at this price

Ruby-red in color, the palate is a successful blend of different grape varieties, with Malbec predominating and the distinct flavor of the oak barrels used for venification. A typical Occitan terroir wine.

Spicy and jammy, this cuvée is an excellent wine to share with friends, and I really enjoyed it.

Very spicy! It tastes like cherry brandy, a bit like kirsch, it's surprising but it works well!

Beautiful aromas of black fruit and spices, a long finish, a well-made wine overall.

The nose is spicy. Warm on the palate, the tannins are still lively. This Malepère deserves a few years in the cellar to release its full potential.
