Legend has it that Vinus heron emblem of Domaines Paul Mas preferred grapes grown on clay and limestone slopes of the Hérault Valley to the studs of the river. Today Vinus symbolizes what the hillsides of this valley have the best to offer. The wines come from vineyards with low yields that produce concentrated grape aromas and color, which in turn will give rise to authentic wines where the typicality of the grape is exacerbated by the talent of the winemaker. Each variety is produced on the tenement best suited: Syrah on schists of sandstone Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon on soubergues ... Our reserve wines and our appellation wines are aged in oak barrels which brings elegance and complexity to them.
