The nose is very intense, and differs from the 2016 vintage, which was fruitier, with a spicier, slightly peppery edge.On the palate, the fruitiness is more pronounced, with red fruits such as blackberry, but also hints of chocolate. The wine is round, the tannins are present and well blended, and the acidity is well controlled, providing both a freshness without being nervous, but with a tension that will enable this wine to be kept for several years.30% petit verdot, 30% syrah, 20% grenache noir, 20% carignan. Hand-harvested by successive sorting, total destemming, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, use of indigenous yeasts, pre-fermentation cold maceration, pumping-over, ageing in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, blending, traditional cork, clay-limestone soils, clay-gravel soils.
