A great classic from the château, Les Douves presents concentrated, expressive aromas, making it a great wine. The dry, arid schist slopes give Syrah optimal ripeness. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, and undergo a long maceration. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

Appearance
The color is crimson, limpid and clear.
Aroma
The nose is expressive, toasty and peppery. Black fruit aromas are also present.
