The winemaker

In line with the commitments outlined by grandparents, Rose and Paul, Gilles became chairman of Cru Malepère to engage recognition Cru Malepère, both locally and nationally. The award comes in 2007 with the creation of the AOC Malepère entering the big leagues. Time passes, the operation progresses, the tradition continues. The construction of the private cellar in 2009 marks a new stage in this evolution. Gilles, Emilie, Camille and Clément worthy ambassadors of their ancestors contribute to the creation of Domaine Rose & Paul, are reaping the benefits in September 2009. As evidence, vine Malepère generations, intergenerational thread. The winemaker Gilles Foussat: Born in October 1962 in full harvest ... as a sign of destiny ... Gilles follows a traditional school curriculum up to the baccalaureate. This is the period where he carries Captain yellow rugby shirt and black Union Sportive Carcassonnaise. From 1985 to 1993, he worked at Alaric's Caves Union and returns as evidence to settle with his father on the family property. The farm grows, Gilles got down to the task: in 1997 a 300m2 hangar that is today covered with photovoltaic panels.
