The Domaine Rière Cadène: respect for nature and the living


The winemakers at Domaine Rière Cadène want to work with respect for the earth. For them, the best wine is the result of a balance between the vine and its environment. All vines are worked by hand. The vineyard is in the process of obtaining Organic Agriculture certification.

The wines of Domaine Rière Cadène


Domaine Rière Cadène's vineyards are spread over three very different geographical areas: the galets roulés of the Têt, the white limestone and schist of Calce and the black schist of the Agly valley. The latter are dedicated to white grape varieties. The plots of land on the galets roulés are classified as AOP Côtes du Roussillon Villages, and are planted with black grape varieties. Finally, the calce terraces produce red wines.
