The winemaker

In 1979, in the southern Languedoc, between ponds, sea and scrubland that Jacques GUERIN, viticulture professor and oenology is offered thousand vines. He draws the domain name: The Thousand Vines.   In two decades, it is with just eleven hectares, a type of field Burgundy thirteen plots spread over three appellations: Fitou, Rivesaltes and Muscat de Rivesaltes; an asset for a winemaker silversmith who works all facets of its wines. In 2000, Valérie GUERIN, the eldest daughter took over the area. Pursuing the quality requirement, it realizes its desire to create wines non-standard! The recognition of professionals and gourmets quickly to the rendezvous. In France, chefs and sommeliers appreciate his wines that are found on larger tables and into the cellars of the Senate and the Elysee. Abroad Domaine Les Mille Vignes become over the years an ambassador of French taste and expertise that marries without ostentation, body and elegance. With Pierre Gagnaire, 3 Michelin stars, the vintage ship for Japan and Hong Kong.
