The winemaker
Nestling in the heart of the garrigue, the 95 hectares of vines stretch over the clay-limestone slopes of the Pic Saint-Loup. The historic domain of the appellation, the vineyards are partly planted on the gentle slopes of Pic Saint-Loup, where the average altitude is 150 meters. The other part is located on hard limestone at an altitude of 250/300 meters, in clearings and terraces on the southern slopes of Pic Saint-Loup. The soil is poor and stony. The climate is warm, benefiting from sea breezes and a good thermal amplitude between day and night during berry ripening.
All the elements are in place to produce top-quality Mediterranean wines.
