The winemaker

The estate is located in the hamlet of Babio depending on the town of La Caunette (Hérault), in the heart of the Haut-Minervois (5 km from the city of Minerva). Perched 200 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Black Mountain (massive Espinouse), the vineyards of Domaine enjoy plenty of sunshine. Taken over in 2003 by Cecile Weissenbach, oenologist training and passion for wine, Domaine turned to quality production by practicing small yields and cultivation methods to get healthy and ripe grapes in respect of 'environment. The grapes are harvested mostly by hand and vinified traditionally. Manufactured wines reveal a beautiful terroir by their depth and finesse.
