Grape varieties : syrah, grenache and carignan. vinification : The vineyards are located on soils of gneiss, Devonian schist and Kimmeridgian limestone. The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification is 100% destemmed. Extraction is by pigeage only, during a long maceration of at least 4 weeks. Ageing: approximately half in vats and half in barrels, depending on the year. TASTING : beautiful dark garnet color. first nose is reserved, dominated by graphite and leather, followed by intense notes of pepper, black fruit and garrigue. the attack is rich and dense, followed by a full-bodied, sunny, long, sappy finish, served by fine tannins and lovely freshness.
