In 1886, just as Baron Haussmann's architecture was beautifying cities, a legend was reborn, that of Mirmanda, the Celtic city inhabited by enchanting fairies in a poem called 'Canigou', evoking the mountain overlooking the vineyards of the Côtes du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres appellation.
