A wonderful discovery thanks to TWIL... As soon as I received the bottles, finding a kind word made the experience pleasant. And I wasn't disappointed on opening: a powerful wine, but one that retains its subtlety.

dense ruby-red color, with almost tile-red cherry highlights.
Intense, rich nose of heather surrounded by spices and thyme. More tertiary notes of smoke and cold tobacco, a hint of menthol and alcohol (14.5°).
round attack. Velvety body, smooth tannins. Rich (perhaps a little too rich), broader than long. Prune, candied black fruit. And smoky, toasty notes, with a hint of dried meat (not unpleasant).
The finish is a little short, leaving a slight dryness on the tongue. This is clearly a wine to enjoy with a meal - with a rich dish (couscous, cassoulet, roast lamb) - rather than on its own.Overall, it's not bad, you can feel the work but there's a little taste of unfinished business on the whole.
