The winemaker

The Montfin castle was founded in 2001 by the Esteve family. They choose a land on the hills of Corbières, on the protected site of Peyriac de Mer. The family reinvests the field and modernized, bringing a new winery and a wine cellar. Winemakers also expand the vineyard of several hectares planted with old Carignan vines. On this plot, between land and sea, the vineyard takes full advantage of a clay and limestone for powerful and authentic wines.
