The winemaker

The culture of the vine is in Fitou centuries, it developed dice the Phoenicians and then to trade on the "mare nostrum" .This is not a coincidence that the town of Fitou gave, dice, 1948, his name than is now the oldest AOC Languedoc Roussillon. The Champ Des Soeurs is a family business that dates back to the 17th century. Today Mary and Lawrence cultivate the field. The vineyards dominate the sea and the lakes and enjoy in addition to breathtaking views, the cool and damp sea breezes. These are extremely important in the maturation of grape berries that can block for lack of water. Or Fitou is one of the driest villages in France. Fortunately nature, which does things, allows the plant to absorb water condensed dew on the leaves. In Field Of Sisters together Mary and Lawrence pick the grapes with their hands, vinify them and raise them. It's a team effort, the work of a life, the life of a couple.
