Wine Cabardès
The Cabardès appellation is located to the northwest of the city of Carcassonne. Spread over 550 hectares, the vineyards are planted on complex soils made up of alveolar limestone, marl and limestone from Ventenac, lacustrine limestone, ancient terraces from the quaternary period, molasses from the tertiary period, schist and gneiss. Appellation Cabardès
The appellation produces red and rosé wines. The great particularity of Cabardès is the fact that the grape varieties are both "Altlantic": Merlot, Cabernets and "Mediterranean": Syrah, Grenache.
