Pierre gaillard, winemaker of côte rôtie, saint joseph and condrieu, has always been fascinated by the beauty of the banyuls landscape and the quality potential of the terroir. In 2002, he acquired the old Pagès estate. Domaine de la Madeloc has a total surface area of 30 hectares, of which 23 hectares are planted in the communes of Banyuls and Port-Vendres. The plots are scattered between the sea... side, the valley bottoms and the mountains, at altitudes ranging from 2 to 450m. Facing north, south or east, they enrich the complexity of the wines by creating a multitude of microclimates. Read more
