The winemaker

Jean-Marie Salaun, Breton origin, married to Franche-Comte who gave him the love of the Jura landscapes and wines if typed in his area, bought his first vineyard and vineyard land in 1977; in 1981 they settled in Passenans having acquired the former farm of the Castle of Frontenay in order to form the Domain of "Cross Walk". This house with typical architecture of winegrowers houses Jura, probably built in the sixteenth century iéme, offers with its vaulted cellars, an ideal setting to aging parts and oak half barrels of their Chateau-Chalon, VinsJaune, Savagnin, Chardonnay and with respect for traditions. The majority of the Domaine extends on the hillsides of Passenans Hélène and Jean-Marie have restored the old Winery Passenans, disappeared partly a result of phylloxera, and land fragmentation. Added to this are three plots in the prestigious terroirs of Château-Chalon with the participation of a small group of clients, friends who wanted to invest in the development of the company created. It is with pleasure and passion they will introduce you to their fields and products made from it. Their son Cedric (the youngest son) comes into this new century and millennium, to take over to continue the work begun. This falls is done with conviction through the support of loyal customers, who have become friends and that will, they believe, also his.
