The Parisian Winery to bring to life the thousand-year-old Francilian wine history

In the 19th century, the Île-de-France was the largest wine-producing area in France. The region was a producer, but also a trading place. Today, the 45,000 hectares of vineyards in the region no longer exist, but the creators of the Winerie Parisienne decided to revive the tradition of wine in Paris.

The Parisian Winery concept

The Winerie Parisienne team travels all over France, in order to select the best grapes. Thus, the choice of terroirs and grape varieties is unlimited and allows us to design creative blends. The grapes are chosen from vineyards that integrate environmental approaches into their practices. The majority of producers are committed to organic viticulture and some are already HVE (High Environmental Value) certified.

The vinification can be done at the winegrower's or in the Winerie Parisienne's cellar. The maturing and blending take place in Montreuil, in the cellar of the Winerie Parisienne. The in-house oenologist designs the blends that give the wine its unique style. In addition to the national selections, La Winerie Parisienne has acquired 3 hectares of vineyards on the Plaine de Versailles in the Yvelines, with the goal of producing 100% Ile-de-France wines.

The Winerie Parisienne winery occupies the premises of a former printing works of 1,200 m². It is modern, functional and complete, with sorting tables, stainless steel tanks, barrels and bottling line. If you have the opportunity to visit the region, you are invited to visit the cellar and discover the behind-the-scenes of the wine maturing process, which you can of course taste on site.

The Judgment of Paris - Red

Le Jugement de Paris is an elegant and structured wine made from Grenache, Merlot, Tannat and Syrah. Its name is a tribute to the 1976 tasting organized by Steven Spurrier in which California wines were tasted among the best French wines in Paris.

This event was intended to prove that great wines can be born, with an original production method and an untold history. The Judgement of Paris plays on the complementary aromas of its four grape varieties. This excellent wine for ageing has an exceptional aromatic freshness that becomes more intense with time.

Don Paris - white sparkling wine

Don Paris is a sparkling white wine made from a Corsican grape variety, Vermentino. It is made through a double fermentation that gives it its fine bubbles that sublimate the richness of the aromas of its grape variety. The nose of Don Paris is marked by citrus fruits, raspberries and small red acid fruits. The attack is frank, with a nice long finish, with various floral notes.
