That's how it all began! Paul Berkmann works in sports marketing. He is passionate about wines and spirits. Attending a conference, he had an idea: why is there no aged vodka? It would be enough to offer a unique barrel-aged vodka. Paul Berkmann realized how difficult it would be to produce a natural French vodka (with no chemical additives) aged in oak barrels. To ensure the success of his project, he decided to enlist the help of Jean-Luc Braud, a renowned cellar master. With his in-depth knowledge of spirits, Braud helped him to develop the vodka recipes. The GUILLOTINE brand was created in 2016. The name was an obvious choice: it perfectly symbolizes the idea of revolution intended by its founder.

Guillotine is a prestigious brand present in France in certain high-end chains and establishments, but its success extends far beyond our borders. Guillotine has a strong presence on the American market, particularly in California, where "made in France" is a highly sought-after guarantee of quality. The Californian market now accounts for the lion's share of the brand's business.

What makes Guillotine vodka unique...

Guillotine is a 100% French vodka in terms of the ingredients used and the twenty or so French producers involved in its production. Traditional harvesting, processing and distillation techniques are used. The century-old distillery uses both modern know-how and ancient techniques to ensure that the subtleties of the fruit are preserved. The Guillotine range of vodkas is guaranteed gluten-free and Vegan certified. Guillotine is made from the finest Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes from the Champagne vineyards (Aÿ-Champagne region).

Guillotine offers "Guillotine Originale Ultra Premium", a vodka with citrus, almond and caramel notes. The structure is complex, the finish balanced and clean. The finest palates will recognize a fruity touch (Zante blackcurrant). This vodka has been voted "World's Best Vodka" in numerous international competitions. Also available is "Guillotine Héritage Barrel-Aged", the one and only vodka aged in oak barrels (which give it its amber hue). Notes of spice, vanilla and cinnamon complement the woody notes of this exceptional vodka with its perfect clarity.
