The winemaker
The Vranken champagne estate
The Vranken champagne estate covers 270 hectares. Its grape varieties are Chardonnay blanc, Meunier noir and Pinot noir. The vines benefit from the region's semi-oceanic, semi-continental climate, as well as its chalky, limestone subsoil. Vranken Champagne is vinified using the traditional Champagne method. The estate uses oak barrels for vinification, depending on the musts' ability to withstand the wood.
The different Vranken champagnes
Vranken Champagnes come in plain or rosé. Their worldwide reputation is well established, and you'll delight your guests by serving them as an aperitif or with dessert.
The emblematic cuvée of Vranken champagnes: Brut Premium Demoiselle
Cuvée Demoiselle is the emblematic production of Vranken champagnes. These are wines made with a majority of Chardonnay, Champagne's noblest grape variety.
The palate is smooth and homogeneous. Mademoiselle Champagne, whether natural or rosé, is light and delicate, with a full-bodied structure and persistence. Its length is as surprising as it is delicious.
The nose evokes the freshness of green apples with the creaminess of Chardonnay. It is enveloped by hints of toast.
Vranken cuvées
The Vranken cuvées represent a selection of brut champagnes, very natural, resulting from traditional Champagne blending. Natural, the wine has a golden yellow color with amber highlights; rosé, its color is pale and sparkling. White fruit aromas dominate, before becoming slightly stewed, with a finish of dried fruit.
Diamond cuvées
Cuvées Diamant skilfully blend Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The blend is refined until a perfect balance is achieved, unlike any other.
Vranken Brut Diamant blanc Champagne
This champagne is from a "Brut Nature" cuvée, which means that no liqueur is added. Liqueur is used to improve the quality of the juices, but as the grapes used are of the highest quality, Champagne Vranken Brut Diamant blanc easily dispenses with this addition.
The wine matures for around 8 years in the cellar, allowing it to release its natural acidity and express its fruity aromas. By comparison, the classic Vranken Brut Nature is cellared for 4 years. This is a champagne of intense freshness. The attack is very strong, followed by suave aromas of stewed white fruit.
Vranken Brut Diamant rosé champagne
Champagne Vranken Brut Diamant rosé is dominated by Chardonnay, it gets its color from 15% pinot noir. Its pale pink color is majestically elegant. The aromas of Champagne Vranken Brut Diamant rosé are imbued with honey and citrus, with buttery nuances.
