In the bottle of our brut, an orchestra of three grape varieties plays a particularly balanced score. The 55% chardonnay provides the foundation for its structure, while the 35% pinot noir from Tours-sur-Marne, Bouzy and Ambonnay adds depth and fruitiness. The 10% pinot meunier adds aromatic density to the blend. Without ever assaulting the palate, this champagne is powerful. Freshness and roundness combine for a clean, fruity finish, setting the stage for a long, balanced and elegant wine. After thirty to thirty-six months' ageing on the lees, a slight dosage is added to Delamotte brut champagne, as to the entire Delamotte range.
