The winemaker

Coming from a family steeped in the vineyard since at least the seventeenth century, William Lucas took over operation Champagne following the retirement of his father, Jean, winemaker since 1977. Formed in Beaune and primary operator near Mercurey, William wanted to bring with him a piece of Burgundy Champagne. His wines are therefore, at the crossroads of these two worlds. The Burgundian farm was taken over by his brother Victor.
